Villa Layout
A gated entrance and water feature mark your arrival into Atulya Residence’s living pavilion. This impressive space, comprising a lounge, dining area and open-plan kitchen, is surrounded by a wide terrace that extends the entire width of the property, taking full advantage of the villa’s magnificent ocean views.
Steps descend from one end of the living pavilion terrace to the first of two master suites housed in a separate pavilion with the same stunning view, then continue down to the pool level and the second master suite. Surrounding the pool is a generous sun terrace, a swim-up bar and a dining and relaxation sala.
Three guest bedrooms are located beneath the living pavilion, and set back from the garden with a view over the pool to the ocean.
Living Areas
Indoor Living
The grand scale of Atulya’s living and dining pavilion, coupled with its spectacular views, creates an astonishing impact on arrival at the villa. This magnificent room is the social hub of the villa; bathed in sun in the mornings and perfectly positioned for admiring Samui’s blazing sunsets at cocktail time.
A cathedral ceiling, hung with an enormous chandelier, soars above a stylish and comfortable lounge furnished with plush white sofas and easy chairs surrounding a striking coffee table hewn from a single tree trunk. This sumptuous setting is decorated with elegant table lamps and Thai artefacts, and equipped with a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV.
At the centre of the room, a square dining table seats up to 10 guests. At the far end is a sleek, stainless steel, western-style kitchen with an island bar.
Glass doors fold right back to connect this sophisticated living space with a wide wraparound terrace for seamless indoor and outdoor living and entertaining.
Outdoor Living
Whimsical bronze sculptures of animals ornament the residence’s impressive 20-metre infinity-edged pool, which plunges over the mountainside onto a fabulous view of the island’s north-east coast and distant islands.
At one end of the pool, is a swim-up bar and large living and dining sala with barbecue grill, drinks fridge and a dining table for 10.
The pool terrace, which is set with loungers, sun shades, and inviting oval daybeds, provides ample space for everyone to enjoy long, lazy days by the pool, cooled by the breezes from the Bophut Hills.
Atulya’s gardens are lovingly maintained. A manicured lawn slopes gently down to the pool, and fragrant tropical shrubs and flowers create a sublime setting for your holiday.
Bedrooms
All five of Atulya Residence’s elegant, sunny, air-conditioned bedrooms overlook the pool and ocean. Each is equipped with a king-size bed, generous wardrobe space and ensuite bathroom with double vanity, walk-in rain shower and, in the case of the two master suites, terrazzo bathtubs.
The tasteful use of warm woods, natural fabrics, area rugs, and subtle lighting create a calm and comfortable ambiance, embellished with stylish wicker furniture and colourful Thai silk accents and artefacts. Smart, flat-screen TVs, modern AV systems, personal safes and bedside controls for air conditioning are common to each room.
Master Bedroom 1
The first of Atulya Residence’s two master suites occupies the top floor of a two-storey pavilion adjacent to the main living areas. A Thai-inspired pitched roof with wooden tiling reflects the style of the main pavilion and gives the room a feeling of space and light. Glass doors fold back onto a private terrace and provide the suite with a panoramic vista from its king-size bed.
Master Bedroom 2
The second master suite lies below the first, and reflects the same layout and design – but without the pitched ceiling. Equally spacious and luxurious, this sumptuous suite also boasts a private terrace with enviable pool and ocean view from its king-size bed.
Deluxe Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5
All three of Atulya Residence’s three guest bedrooms are of a similar design and layout, with ensuite bathrooms to the rear and foldable glass doors to the front. Guests in these stylishly appointed rooms enjoy views down towards the pool and ocean from their king-size beds.

Atulya Residence is serviced by the estate’s central kitchen, run by a highly skilled chef and his team. The kitchen is adept in the preparation of Thai and western cuisines, which are served hot in the villa. Guest requests are accommodated as far as possible (including special diets and children’s menu). A suggestion priced menu is available for you to choose from. Alternatively, groceries are charged at cost plus 30% handling fee which is subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.

Spa treatments selected from a comprehensive menu can be carried out by professional beauty therapists (extra cost applies) by arrangement with the villa manager.
Complimentary one-way airport pickup and dropoff. Car hire and taxi pick-ups can easily be arranged with your villa manager at small cost.
Events for up to 40 guests standing can be arranged at Atulya Residence with prior notice (event fee applies).
